How to calculate SS Pipe weight
Pipe weight per metre (kg) = (OD − WT) × WT × 0.02491, with OD and wall thickness in mm. A 2" Sch 40S SS 304 pipe (60.33 × 3.91 mm) weighs about 5.5 kg/m.

Do you supply both seamless and welded SS pipes?
Yes. We supply ASTM A312 seamless and welded pipes, ERW pipes and A554 ornamental pipes.
What is the difference between Sch 10S and Sch 40S?
The schedule sets the wall thickness. For the same pipe size, Sch 40S has a thicker wall than Sch 10S and can handle higher pressure. See our pipe schedule chart.
Can you supply IBR certified stainless pipes?
Yes, IBR certified pipes can be arranged for steam and boiler applications.
What is the weight of a 1 inch Sch 40 SS pipe?
A 1" Sch 40S pipe (33.40 mm OD × 3.38 mm wall) weighs about 2.53 kg per metre.
