Strip weight per metre (kg) = Width (mm) × Thickness (mm) × 0.00793. Coil weight is shown on the coil tag and mill certificate.
Stainless Steel Coil — FAQs
Do you supply slit coils in narrow widths?
Yes. Coils can be slit to widths from about 8 mm upward, depending on thickness.
What is the minimum order for SS coil?
For slit coils we can supply small quantities from stock. Full mill coils are sold by the coil. Contact us with your width and thickness for availability.
What is the difference between CR and HR coil?
Cold rolled coils are thinner (up to about 6 mm), smoother and more accurate in thickness. Hot rolled coils are thicker (2–12 mm) with a No.1 pickled finish.
